Privacy Policy
This app is designed as a fully offline local tool. The policy below explains how data is handled on device, together with the product disclaimer for professional field use.
Scope
This policy applies to the offline features of HVAC PT Toolkit on iPhone and iPad, including refrigerant calculations, fault code lookup, diagnosis guidance, reference materials, service records, and export features.
Information collection
The app does not require account registration, does not offer online login, and does not collect personal information through built-in server interfaces as a default product behavior.
Service records, equipment data, quote items, photos, and signatures entered by the user are used for local processing and export on the device, and are not uploaded by default to developer-controlled servers.
Local storage
App data is stored locally on the device by default, including favorites, recents, repair records, custom fault codes, custom diagnosis flows, custom references, and settings.
When the user exports a file, the exported result follows the destination chosen through the system save or share workflow. Syncing to any third-party service depends on the user's own selection.
Information sharing
The app does not send repair records or operational data to developer servers, advertising networks, or third-party analytics platforms as a default behavior.
If the user explicitly shares exported files through system sharing actions, that transfer is initiated and controlled by the user.
Device permissions
The app may request system permissions when required by a specific local feature, such as choosing or saving images, or importing and exporting files. Such permissions are used only for the related on-device function.
Disclaimer
The app's refrigerant calculations, fault code references, diagnosis flows, reference materials, and service record templates are provided as field reference tools only. They do not guarantee a specific diagnosis, repair outcome, safety outcome, or commercial result.
Professional use requirement
Users should apply the app together with the exact equipment model, manufacturer documentation, field measurements, safety procedures, and their own professional judgment. Brands, series, regions, and hardware revisions may differ.
Responsibility for results
Any risk, loss, misjudgment, equipment damage, downtime, personal injury, or business dispute arising from repair, charging, diagnosis, quotation, disassembly, testing, or exported service output remains the responsibility of the actual operator.
Accuracy boundary
The app is built to improve field efficiency, but it does not guarantee complete coverage of every brand, model, production batch, revision, or service bulletin. Critical points should be verified against the exact source material.
Policy changes
If app features or local data handling practices change, this page may be updated accordingly. Continued use of the app indicates acceptance of the updated policy description.
