Support

Use this guide to resolve permission, reading accuracy, trip recording, widget, and Apple Watch sync questions.

Location does not appear

Allow location permission in system settings and confirm precise location is enabled. Reopen the app in an open area to improve GPS accuracy.

Pressure or barometric altitude is unavailable

Some devices do not include a barometer. If the device supports it, confirm motion and sensor access is allowed and keep the app able to read sensors.

Trip route is incomplete

Locked-screen or background recording requires Always Allow Location. If only While Using is allowed, the route may stop updating. Check battery, location permission, and GPS accuracy before recording.

Widget appears delayed

Widgets display the latest synced data, and refresh is controlled by the system. Opening the iPhone app updates shared readings and recording state.

Apple Watch waits for iPhone

Confirm iPhone and Apple Watch are paired and connected. The watch can also read sensors and record independently, then try to sync completed trips when the connection returns.

Altitude looks inaccurate

GPS, barometer, and hybrid altitude can differ. Calibrate at a known elevation and review source and accuracy indicators before relying on a reading.

Suggested Checks

  • Location permission is allowed.
  • Precise location is enabled.
  • Motion and sensor access is allowed.
  • The device supports barometer and compass features.
  • Low Power Mode is not limiting background activity.
  • Widget or Apple Watch has synced with iPhone.
