Data Storage

Trip records, saved places, settings, calibration values, and chart data are stored locally on the user’s device by default. The app does not upload this data to developer servers.

Location & Sensors

• Location permission is used to show altitude, coordinates, speed, sunrise and sunset, and trip distance.
• Background location is used only after the user starts trip recording, so the route can continue while the app is not in front.
• Motion and barometer access is used to read pressure and relative altitude changes.
• Apple Watch and widgets read the latest shared readings and recording state for synchronized display.

System Services

Map display, system sharing, widgets, and Apple Watch sync may use Apple system capabilities. The app does not send measurement data to developer servers through these features.

Export & Deletion

Users may export GPX files or share images. Exported files are managed by the user. Deleting the app or deleting records inside the app removes locally stored app data; copies already shared or saved elsewhere are outside the app’s control.

Disclaimer

Altitude, pressure, speed, route, sunrise and sunset, and trend information can be affected by device hardware, GPS signal, weather changes, calibration, system permissions, and environmental obstruction. Readings may be inaccurate or delayed.

All measurements and prompts are for reference only. Do not rely on the app as the sole basis for mountaineering, aviation, diving, driving, rescue, medical, legal, or other high-risk decisions. Users should combine professional instruments, official information, and situational judgment.

Children & Shared Devices

The app is not designed to collect personal information from children. If used in schools, organizations, outdoor groups, or on shared devices, permissions and data should be managed by the device owner or guardian.
