Overview
Roof Layout: Takeoff is designed for local roof estimating, waste review, material calculation, pricing support, and PDF export. The app is intended to minimize unnecessary data collection and to keep estimating information under user control.
Information You Enter
The app may store project names, customer labels, addresses, roof plane measurements, opening deductions, material selections, scenario settings, pricing values, notes, and related estimate data that you choose to enter.
How Data Is Used
Entered data is used to power roof geometry summaries, waste guidance, material takeoff results, pricing output, and export files generated from the app workflow.
Local Storage
Project data is intended to remain on the device unless you explicitly export, share, back up, or import it through system-provided file actions.
Permissions
Camera / AR
If AR measurement features are used, the app may request camera access to support on-device measurement input.
Files
The app may access system file pickers only when you choose to export, import, or back up project data.
Exports and Sharing
When you export a PDF or other supported file, the content in that file is based on the estimate information currently stored in the project. Any distribution or sharing of exported files is controlled by you.
Third-Party Services
This website does not describe any built-in requirement for user accounts, advertising networks, or public-facing social features. If platform distribution services provide their own analytics or support flows, those services are governed by their own policies.
