Data collection
The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, behavioral tracking, or remote logging SDKs. Bowlers, sessions, scores, leaves, gear, notes, and photos you enter are stored locally on your device by default.
Data use
The app uses local data to create practice focuses, training plans, linked practice history, scorecards, statistics, trends, spare analysis, ball performance views, and export files. These operations are performed on the device.
Exports and sharing
When you choose to export images, PDFs, CSV files, or backups, the content is generated locally and handed to the system sharing or saving flow. Exported files are managed by you.
Backups and deletion
Because data is primarily stored on the device, deleting the app, clearing local data, or changing devices may make records unrecoverable. Creating your own backup after important sessions is recommended.
Disclaimer
Lane Lab is an independent bowling scorekeeping, recordkeeping, and statistical aid. It is not an official scoring system for any tournament, league, bowling center, or association. Official scores, eligibility, lane rules, handicap rules, and competition results are determined by the relevant organizer or center. Statistics and practice suggestions are generated from user-entered data and may be inaccurate if input is incomplete or incorrect; they do not guarantee performance improvement.
Third-party names
Users may enter bowling centers, brands, or equipment names in the app. Those names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Lane Lab does not claim affiliation, authorization, endorsement, or sponsorship by any bowling center, event organizer, association, or equipment brand.
