Privacy Policy and Disclaimer

This page defines the data boundaries of the static website and the app, how information stays local, and where machining responsibility remains with the operator.

This static website is limited to product overview, policy text, and self-service support guidance. It does not include sign-in, forms, ads, or analytics tracking scripts.

Scope of data handling

CNC Lathe Assistant runs offline by default and does not require registration, login, or cloud accounts. Calculation records, templates, machines, materials, tools, validation cases, and recent inputs are stored on the current device.

The website is a standalone collection of static HTML pages. It can be opened locally or served as plain static content without asking for personal profile data.

Information not actively collected

The website and app do not actively collect name, phone number, email address, location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data.

The website does not embed ad scripts, analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking behavior. The app is not designed to connect to machines, send programs, or remotely collect machine-side data.

Local actions triggered by the user

  • When copy is used, text is written to the system clipboard.
  • When import or export is used, backup files are read or written only at locations the user explicitly selects.
  • When records, templates, or check items are saved, the related data is written to local device storage.

Data control and deletion

In the app, users can export local backups, import data with add-or-replace behavior, or clear all data. Removing machines, records, templates, or check records deletes those items from the local dataset.

If a record or template references a deleted machine, the app keeps the historical ownership context visible and can fall back to the default machine for later display and repair workflows.

Disclaimer

  • This app provides results for programming and process reference only.
  • Dimensions, tool paths, programs, and machine settings must be manually verified before real machining.
  • The app does not connect to machines, send programs, or control equipment actions.
  • Any machining deviation caused by parameter setup, program completion, clamping, tool wear, or machine differences remains the responsibility of the operator.
