Common questions and checks.
Use these notes to understand inputs, saving, export, import and unit preferences.
Results look wrong
- Confirm tire format, such as 205/55R16.
- Confirm final drive, transfer ratio and gear ratios match the real setup.
- Confirm RPM range, redline and step values are reasonable.
- Remember that results are theoretical estimates; slip, drag and drivetrain loss affect real vehicles.
Saving project setups
- Create a project first or select a project in the gear speed calculator.
- Enter a title before saving a setup.
- Setups are reusable editable inputs; records are saved result snapshots.
Export and backup
- Calculation pages can export PDF, CSV or PNG.
- Settings can back up all data as JSON.
- Export opens the system share sheet so the user chooses the destination.
Importing data
- Choose Import Data in Settings.
- New data is added locally.
- Duplicate data can be replaced or skipped.
Language, appearance and units
- Settings can follow the system language or switch between Chinese and English.
- Settings can follow the system appearance or switch between light and dark.
- Chinese defaults to metric and English defaults to imperial; both can also be shown.
